Stephen Decatur High School Football Stars Set for Division I Opportunities
Next fall, Stephen Decatur High School (SDHS) will see its football legacy continue as three senior players transition to NCAA Division I programs. Davin Chandler, Trybe Wise, and Ethan Bradshaw will part ways with their high school football careers after competing for a second consecutive state championship at the MPSSAA Football State Championships. They recently committed to prestigious institutions: Chandler will play at Vanderbilt University, Wise at Georgetown University, and Bradshaw at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
During a formal signing ceremony, school officials praised the trio not only for their athletic accomplishments but also for their academic excellence. With acceptance rates of 7% for Vanderbilt, 14% for Georgetown, and 12% for West Point, these students exemplify the high standards expected at SDHS. The community, including parents and coaches, has played a crucial role in supporting their journeys. As they prepare for their final high school game, the focus remains on their upcoming challenge in Annapolis, where they aim for back-to-back titles.
